Is there anything with a more pungent smell than ammonia?

I pour ammonia onto my underpants to ensure that I live up to my name- the pungent smell!

  1. Yes, Formic Acid,  usd to work with it. u have to wear a gas mask or it burns the inside of your nose, nasty!


  2. Hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen selenide, and hydrogen telluride are all extremely foul smelling and can be detected at low concentrations by the nose, but are also toxic.

    Acidic gases such as sulfur dioxide/trioxide, hydrogen chloride, and thionyl chloride (actually a volatile liquid) have a pungent, choking odor, but can cause lung damage...

  5. Sulfur dioxide (which forms "sulfurous acid" when dissolved in water). Careful with it, though - it is somewhat more hazardous than ammonia. (That is, if I believed that you actually do it...)
