Yes, many things are worse than having your heart broken.

For starters, look at the good sides to it:

* It undeniably proves you have a heart;

* You gave it to someone, meaning you were in love;

* Being in love is one of the best things in life ever

* It's better to have it broken than frozen

* A broken heart attracts softer souls who want to comfort it and unbreak it, so you're in for a new love, although you don't think so now nor wish for it:)

Time really and thoroughly cures everything, so it will take care of your heart too, don't worry. Just let it heal from within and give it time&space. ♥

Getting your head broken.  But seriously, someone breaking your heart is very difficult.  However, it will only be more difficult if you linger on it and mope about it.  It is not the end of the world.  You will move on to bigger and better things.  I recall reading a story about a young Billy Joel.  He was contemplating suicide after breaking up with his girlfriend.  He thought that would never be anything better for him in life.  Well thank God he snapped out of that.  Yes there are things worse than heartbreak.  However, you won't be able to recognize them right now.  Just move on.  It will be better.

well a broken heart is only a period that you go thru. . . i know people say that time heals all wounds but it up to you to try and not let your heart feel this way . . . do something different , throw away the things the remind you of the pain ( or just keep it out of sight. . . )  

but it up to you to move on. . . .  think of it as a new lease on life. . . .and you do deserve better.

Having it broken again.

If you are in this situation, you can try this.  Find something in your environment that doesn't make you think about the person you have lost.  Can be a door know or whatever.  Then find another and then another.  This will help you break that connection.
