  1. I used to like writing stories and sending them for publication. Had about 1 in 10 accepted, and thought - Hey, I could be a writer.

But over time, 'reality' dawned and I found the world of creative writing not the idealistic thing that fiction writers dream about. That led to a career in feature writing - journalistic writing - before stagnation struck.

Now I work in a different line, in a totally different industry. Some day, I'll learn to like it for the food it puts on the table. Cynical, but true. (Reality bites; life moves on.)

  2. My advice to you is be your own person, don,t do anything you really don,t like or want to do. No one can make you do anything. What ever you do let it be what you want to do.  Be blessed

  3. No, can't really think of anything I'd categorize quite like that (maybe smoking when I was much younger, but even then I think it would be a stretch to define it in those terms).

  4. hahahaha! Yes I am sure there is, but I like people to associate pleasure with seeing me so I expect I keep it up out of pleasure, the pleasure of pleasing others.

  5. For about 5 years when I was younger (quite a while ago), I loved turtles like nothing else.  Now, I don't really care.  My mother still randomly brings me little turtle trinkets back from their vacations... It's a habit with her that she can't break.  I don't have the heart to tell her to stop.

  6. ...yeah, my alcohol and cocaine habits and the shallow relationships founded on those two habits...

...became unproductive, a loss of reality and personal integrity...

    ...expectations dictated my lifestyle...THEN...

...enjoying my life now and all that LIFE IS...

    ...thanks for asking...

  7. yeah.....marijuana!!! Not anymore though, finally said no I've had enough to that one
