Is there anyway,i can get my nokia 5300 phone get updated with the latest firmwire? I have only 128mb of ram!?

Please help...i need my nokia 5300 updated to the latest firmwire v5.51!!!!! I have only 128mb of ram???

  1. Use the Nokia Software Updater (http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163). You can check which is the latest firmware version first at http://europe.nokia.com/A4577224

    Where is that RAM located? In your PC? (There are phones these days with the same amount of memory :) ) The requirements for the PC are listed on the same page and they do say that minimum 256 is required.

    You can try to use the software even if the minimum required resources are not available but if the software fails to work during the flashing sequence your phone will be rendered useless.

    My advice, go to Nokia Care's service point and ask them to upgrade the firmware. It will be done for free if under warranty.
