Is there anyway I can check if I were caught going over 30MPH by a mobile camera?

  1. You should receive a notice of intended prosecution within 14 days (no guarantee though, could be longer), this will basically ask you who was driving etc. You'll have to return this form pretty quickly (within 28 days, I think). Don't 'lose' it - you'll land yourself in worse trouble.

    Then, depending on how fast you were going, you'll receive either a fixed penalty notice or a court summons.

    Normally, this will all happen within 6 months - if you haven't heard anything by then, you've probably not been caught by the camera. Slow down in the future though!


  2. You will receive a fixed penalty notice within 14 days. Unfortunately there is no way to tell before that. I know the feeling of waiting, it's not nice.
