Is there anyway an employer of the state can find out that i was institutionalized 7 years ago?

I was only in for a day... I never had treatment or meds and the doc apologized to me for wrongful captivity.... This happened in FL. but i live in OH.... is there anyway that the state of Ohio could find this Information out?

  1. If it was court ordered....yes, it will be in the LEIN law enforcment network.


  2. If it's a state job, then yes, they can find out.  Your best option is not to mention it unless you are asked directly.  If they do ask, give them all of the information they need.  Remember that falsifying or misrepresenting that information can lead to dismissal from state positions.
