Is there anyway get rid of the air pockets in my in-ground pool liner after it has been filled with water?

  1. I believe that over time, they will go away by themselves as the air is forced back into the ground by the pressure of the water weight.  The only other way I could think of is to attempt to pipe under the liner to the bubbles and see if doing so will allow the weight of the water to drive the air out and allow the liner to settle.  Sounds to me like the layer of sand that should be put down before laying the liner was either uneven or totally missing.
