  1. referee is wrong, there is no sponsoring on a working holiday visa

the only way an Australian can sponsor someone to live in Australia is if they own a business and you have the skills needed

or your marrying an Aussie or you have CLOSE relatives to sponsor you

you must have done seasonal work for at least 3 months on your first working holiday visa

  2. Tricky one, I am in the same situation. Here are out options:

    457 visa

Get sponsored by an employer. This costs around $2,000 but often the employer will pay. This can be hassle, the employer need to be licenced and prove that you can do the job like no Aussie.....blah blah, its complex. Just go to a big company If you want this as they have a higher success rate.

    Perm Visa

You could become permenant resident, but would need to be skills assessed. Depends on what job you are doing. They will give you a bridging visa which you wait for you perm visa to come through. costs over $5,000.

I have heard of ways of getting round the fruitpicking, such as paying off farmers and putting down any old ABN number but I don't know about any of this...

  3. Hi Barney,If your asking this and your in Oz, get someone who lives there to sponsor you, they can do that, my mates an ozzie and she said she could sponsor me if I want to live there.
