  1. i'm pretty sure you can do that through one of the newer versions of windows media player, and possible itunes.

    or,

go on the radio stations website

  2. Only if that station has it available on line, as far as I know.  Or a satelitte radio.

  3. This is a link to listen to TALKSPORT RADIO(UK).

There's no music. It's all debate and arguing.

    http://www1.talksport.net/mediaplayer/me...

  4. they just told me an hour ago that it was 107

  5. Move to the UK? cry about the loss, try a different station, or proxy from London.. about it...

according to a website I was reading from, Radio stations in the UK would be given the rights to webstream only to people who have IP numbers based in the UK for their current costs by the government. Apparently it would cost them a extra fee to broadcast outside the UK and hince the shut off.

The US shutoff was not government related but actually dealing with music licensing fees.... Basically every radio station and webstreamer pays a fee to be able to play a piece of music (almost all music has some licensing or basically way to pay the artist attached to it). The reason why webstreaming was going to be stopped was the fees asked for was considered extremely costly and unprofitable to the radio stations to do.

Right now most stations in the US stream but remove commercials (didn't notice why your favorite stations sound better online for huh?) due to fees attached to the Commercials... who would have thought that!

  6. Yeah, find the radio station and to go the website- Then find "listen live".

  7. even with Serius?

  8. nope, sorry

  9. go you

    www.launch.yahoo.com

    or go to yahoo music

  10. There are two ways.  The first is to buy a shortwave radio.  A shortwave radio is an older device which is designed to pick up radio stations from all over the world.  If you go into an electronics store, they should have a shortwave radio.  The other is to find a website that links directly into a UK radio station.  I know these exist because I have listened to the BBC Hour on a website.  It will take a little research on your part.

  11. go to the radio stations's website and listen to it online.

  12. listen to it on the internet thats all i can think of

  13. the US gov is trying to do away with free internet radio. they want you to pay for it and put up taxes on it. sucks? right? internet radio wont be around for much longer.

  14. Many,  though not all major market radio stations on

the North American Continent are either on satellite.

or stream their programming on-line,  some do both.

In addition there's short wave. and the voice of America.

It's possible that some US sites on-line maybe blocked,

for reasons of economic and so-called cultural

    protectionism.

In that case there are few options.

    LuvUall Ba-bye,,.
