  1. Depends on what you are selling. Quite often if its a large item then people state that the purchaser picks the item up from you, thus asking for cash when the goods are picked up shouldn't be a problem. I have seen this on a number of items eg cars.

Asking for cash or postal order through the post is theoretically possible but I am sure a lot of purchasers would shy away from this.

  2. say postal orders only ,

  3. I think that you will find that ebay will not enroll you in a sellers account without a Bank Account. Without having a Sellers Account you cannot sell on ebay.

  4. You can ask for cheques or postal orders to avoid PayPal.  However, your stuff will sell for much less on average than people who set up a PayPal account.

The difficulty arises with eBay fees.  I do not  believe that eBay has any facility to cope with you paying sellers fees by any method other than through a bank account.

You might be able to use a building society account.  Worth a try!

  5. I think you can use a credit card.

  6. You can pay seller fees with a cheque.

But you may have to give credit card details in order to set up a seller account.
