Is there anyway of finding out what model number of mother board you have by like haveing a program scan it?

cause i need to install an audio driver for my pc cause the sound wont work!! so i found out i need to install the right audio driver could i just download an asus random audio driver

all i know that my mother board is asus

  1. Download Belarc Advisor (free) - it will read the model number of your motherboard.

  2. On a few select boards from Asus, the model number is located on the top right corner of the motherboard.

    You'll see something like this displayed.

    Don't just use any drivers as you'll make things worse as that had happen to a friend on her Dell. Fortunately we got it to work again.
