  1. Get a different car.

  2. First off and most obviously YOU DO NOT NEED AN EVO FOR A FIRST CAR!!!! the insurance alone would bee $500+ month, and you will do something retarded and either hurt the car, yourself, or someone else.  A EVO for that year will sell for about $17,000-$45,000. The base lancers are going for about what you are trying to get and EVO for. But on the slim chance you do find one let me know so I can go buy 3-4 of them and I'll sell them for double. I currently own a 2005 EVO in the blue by you color, and have upgraded the turbo to a Peakboost GT30R kit, and AEM EMS engine management system, ACT clutch kit and sitting about 480 AWHP.

  3. no, with $8,000.00 you'd only get the engine.

  4. wrecked...but you'd end up spending almost the same amount getting it up to snuff...

save your money and get a nice civic.

  5. You could buy a used one

  6. Hey, you should really think about adding a '1' or a '2' in front of that $8,000.

Or go with atleast a few more year on it like a '98 or '99. Even then, I dont think so...

Do you even know why you want an EVO, when it is going to be your first car???  You should really do some research before buying or you'll regret it later.

First cars for under $8,000 shouldn't even be in this class of cars!!!

  7. Maybe if there was a salvage title on it.

For $8,000.  You should try looking for a 2002 Subaru WRX.  The first US version with the Bug Eye headlights.  It's actually a pretty good car.  It ain't no EVO but it's a major sleeper of a car.  Get up enough money and do an engine swap of the STI's EJ25 engine.

  8. Sorry girl you're all out of luck! You have to have at least 15,000 dollars to get a high milage EVO. And I'm being very generous. The least I've seen is 19,000 dollars for 50K Evo. Most are in the 20K.

  9. You could get the REGULAR lancer. Sorry to break it to you, but a 2003 evo is worth more than $8000.

  10. lol sorry but no ya you will not find an evo for that cheap. You might find a wrecked one lol but not a running one. you can buy a lancer? it doesnt have the turbo or awd or the nice racing seats and the speen lol but its a lancer
