Is there anyway to correct screen tears in an analog TV?

I bought a PS3 with the standard AV hookup that comes with it. (White video, red & yellow audio plugins.) Played perfectly until two hours in when it began having screen tears. (The screen image looks like it cuts in half for a few seconds.) An HDTV is half a year away for me so is there a solution to play on my Analog TV in the meantime?

I believe you need an RF Modulator but you should contact Jerry from the website below because he helped me with the sane problem.  His phone and e-mail are on his website and hes is based in jersey so if you live close by in the tri-state area he will come and check it out for.
