Is there anyway to get my ten year old radio play my ipod?

My friend got some usb cord or something to make her radio able to play her ipod.

Is it possible for mine to be able to do that?

  1. if that radio has a cassette feature on it, than you can buy a cassette adapter at a best buy, circuit city, walmart, kmart, etc. and put it on the radio ^_^


  2. Oh yes, there is always a way. You have pretty much two easy options.

    You could purchase a simple FM Transmitter (Expected to spend $35+ at a store or around $20 online), and then tune the stereo's radio to some low frequency in the upper 80's (ex. 89.7MHz)

    Or

    You could purchase a cassette-tape based "connector" that plugs into the headphone jack on the iPod and goes into the tape slot on the stereo. This is the cheap method. You won't necessarily get the best audio quailty, but it's not bad. Expect to spend $10 - $30 in the store (don't bother buying one online b/c shipping would make it inefficient)
