Is there anyway to get your license and don't have to wait the whole year with the permit?

I will be 17 in july and i have a job, i only worked during weekends before but now that the summer started i must work during the weeks and i dont have a method of transportation.

Well state laws vary, but as far as Massachusetts goes (where I live) you need to be 16 to obtain a permit, and have that permit for 6 months (as well as the other required things such as driver's ed) in order to try to get a license. You need to wait the time...sorry.
