Is there anyway to have a phone from one company but service from another?

I want this really awesome phone from T-mobile. But i have at&t!!!!

You have to buy an unlocked phone. Search the web for your particular phone and see if anyone sells unlocked version of the phone. Also there maybe secrete code to unlock it. But be sure to keep a reciept in case AT&T has security check to prevent your particular phone from doing so. Most Nokia phones can be unlocked; not sure about other OEMs.
