Question:

Is there anyway to loose weight without anything serious? (I'm 13) :)?

I'm 13 and I wanna loose weight.

But I don't want to go on a crash-diet or anything serious.

I know about eating healthy and getting exersize.

Any tips? (links help too.)

    1. Never skip breakfast.

    2. Eat 3-4 servings of fruit a day.

    3. Eat 4-5 servings of veggies a day.

    4. Drink plenty of water.

    5. Stay away from candies.

    6. Only one sugary drink a day.(Pop, sweetened iced tea)

    In volleyball and for volleyball, we had to do sets. This are what we did in them.

    Set 1:

    - Run from line to line (about 3 or 4 meters) for 2 minutes at a time. Set a goal for your self!

    - Jumping Jacks (20 or 30)

    - Cartwheels (really easy)

    Set 2: (Core)

    - 10 Sit Ups

    - 10 Push Ups

    - 10 Crunches

    Set 3:

    - Wall Sits (Pretend to sit with your butt and back on the wall, 5 min each)

    - Sprints

    -- don't eat after 6-7 pm or eat just fruit and drink juices after this time

    -- don't eat any sweets or any products, which has sugar

    -- don't eat mealy products

       (But if you want to eat something like that eat it just a little and at                    first part of day)

    -- eat more fruit and vegetables (fresh and cooked)

    -- drink more fresh water, juices, and green tea

  5. you should try sparkpeople.com they have two programs, one for teen weight loss and one for mataining weight and living healthy. it is free, you get a meal plan in which you are given a calorie range mine is 1,800- 2,150 that is for weight loss, and you get an exercise plan depending on the equipment you have or don,t have good luck when I was 13 i lost 55 pounds with sparkpeople and I have kept it off ever since, it really works for whatever goal you have. good luck

  6. Try to eat 5 light meals a day, 3 normal ones (but lighter) then 2 healthy snacks. This will ensure your metabolism will be constantly be burning calories throughout the day. Go with the http://www.sparkpeople.com advice, you wont regret it! Its the healthy way to lose weight and you will know exactly how many calories you should be eating or burning everyday. I lost all the weight I needed (20lbs) and have still kept it off after a year of losing it. Good luck!

    Drink plenty of water

    And do 30 minutes of running/cardio excercise at least 4 times a week

    Try not too eat too much carbos before you sleep (stop eating too much carbos after 7pm)

    Never skip breakfast!

    Drink water to curb your cravings.

    Avoid sugar drinks, sweets, candy, fast food etc

    Inculcate some exercise into your routine, duh.
