Is there anyway to make a photo zoomed in iphoto?

I have a picture that I am far away in and I want to zoom on it to make maybe see me better and make it permanent, is there anyway to do this in iphoto for mac?

Crop it around you.

1. Select your picture

2. At the bottom left side of the iPhoto page, choose Enter Full Screen.

3.  this brings up that picture and a menu of options across the bottom.

4. choose the crop tool and crop as you wish. This is also where you can do a lot of other adjustments to color, brightness, etc. in iPhoto.

5. Look carefully at your cropped image.  You don't want t get in so close that it becomes pixelated.

6.Save your changes.

This is confusing because in the newest version of iPhoto if I  just click on Edit, it automatically opens the image in Photoshop.  I don't know what it does if you don't happen to have Photoshop.

You can crop it or zoom in -- the zoom is in the lower right corner, you just drag it to the right. Just make the box around the picture to crop it -- then press "crop" at the bottom of the page.
