Is there anyway to make my hair grow slower?

My hair grows extremly fast and i want it to grow slower so that the hairstyle im about to get doesn't get too long. Also, my whole life i have thick hair,does having thick hair make it grow faster or something?

Grow it extremely long and donate it to locks of love. I have very slow growing hair and if I had that gift I would use it for good! Not saying your a bad person or anything but if your hair is really long you can cut it and donate it then use the style that you wanted! Or keep you hairstyle that your about to get and when it does grow long donate your hair and maybe get a short new style?

This cracks me up... when I am on here all I here is make my hair grow faster... this is crazy and yes I understand because you get your hair the way you want it and boom!!! it grows out and it seems you just got it done...

Thick hair has nothing to do with the rate your hair grows... be glad you have this problem... there is so many thinned haired... slow growing... almost bald people out there that wished they had you problem... in 30 years of doing hair I have never heard of anything to r****d hair growth and I would want you to use some kind of drug someone suggest that they use to slow their leg hair from growing???? or chemical because if you were to injure the hair follicle you could do damage as far as making hair permanently thinner...

Get over having thick hair... I know this didn't help;-)))
