  1. Talk to your schoold counselor..  Every school has a couselor and a pshychiatrist.  You can go to the office and request a meeting with a counselor and they don't have to call your parents.  BUt if you social anxiety is really bad, there is a possibility that you could need medicine that the school can't give you. My daughter has anxiety, and she does see an outside therapist, but she also has a counselor that she sees at school and I never know when she has seen her or what they talk about.  My daughter doesn't tell me and the school doesn't either.

  2. go to your school counselor when you go back to school if you haven't already, they can help you out on a lot of things, and let you know their opinion and see if you can go to a counselor

  3. Not really, no.

  4. You can definitely go to the doctors without parents knowing, and I assume they can give you a referral too, in confidence.  I would expect them to encourage you to talk to your parents, but that would be your choice to make.  Have you thought about talking to a friends parents about this...someone you trust?

Good luck with this though, x
