Is there anyway to turn the palm centro off?

I know that the power button turns the "phone" off so that you can still use the organizer without the cell service being on but is there a way to actually turn of the device?

Unfortunately, that's about the furthest you can go to switch off the phone. There definitely is no way to completely kill the device without taking the battery out.
