Is there anyway to watch videos that were on youtube, but the user deleted his account?

I'm afraid not. Youtube has a large database and needs all the space they can get; it's not easy being a free service and hosting so much data and trying to be up as much as possible. I'm sure they delete the videos, so the only way you would be able to get the video is either from the original poster or someone who has downloaded the video from Youtube.

It's also possible the original poster of the video also posted it on other sites, such as google video. You might want to check there too if you think it's possible.
