  1. yes  i think so

  2. I quess, compare your smell and another person's, and you'll be able to tell which is your's because you can smell it!

    Please choose me!

  3. Yes, I think that is true.

I have a cousin, who I used to play with when we where children, Now many years later we were both together at Christmas and I recognized his 'smell' that i remembered from long long ago,

Don't don't get me wrong, it was not a bad smell, or a Cologne it was just a smell.

I know infants know after a while when it is mother or father by the smell of their cloths and it has been suggested if the mother or whoever must be gone for a while to use a shirt or such from them that they have worn to help at feeding time.

  4. Yes.  But you may not recognise it as a smell.

All animals that live in groups can identify each others smell, and we are no different.

These smells are probably pheromones, which we give off without really knowing.  They are chemical triggers and markers.

As a child you would be comforted by being close to your parents.  Their smell would relax you whether you know it or not, and you would probably associate similar smells with safety and home.

Later in life you will come to recognise (subconciously) your partners smell and that too would give you a sense of well being.
