Is there anywhere I find the value of Australian coins that aren't used anymore?

I have a couple of 1 cent coins and a round 50 cent coins lying around I thought it would be interesting to know how much they're worth :]

  1. If you go to your local public library, chances are reasonable that they have a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause Publications), which is the same coin reference that many coin dealers use.

    The round 50 cents is a one year type (1966), and contains about .34 troy ounces of silver. It is worth about $5.

    The one and two cent coins are worth about 10 cents each as collectibles.
