Is there anywhere i can get a valuation on my antique golf ball?

I have been offered quite a bit of cash for this ball of a bloke i spoke to and think it must be worth more.

  1. Some people pay a lot for these, especially 'featherys' which were stuffed with feathers

    I'd phone/visit/photo email Bonhams, Christies and Sothebys and see what they say - check out link

  3. sullazzy... 1 in 20 golf shops MIGHT know what to do in that situation. A golf proshop or store is not the place to take it.

    1st answer is the best answer.

  4. Wait until "Antiques Roadshow" comes around your area and take it in to them.  They think they know a value for everything.  Of course there is a difference between what an appraiser says something is worth as an "auction estimate", and getting someone to hand over the cash.

  5. I would try one of the auction sites like E-Bay. You could put a minimum you would accept to insure you do not sell it at a poor price.
