We'll be staying in Germany for quite awhile and while we're there I'd like to know what places (all over Europe) we should not miss. I'd also like to know which places are warm so we have somewhere to go in the winter. Thanks for your time!

  1. San Sebastian is my favorite for beaches.  It has a bay (a C-shaped beach) with lots of sand, right along the historical part of the city with cobblestone streets.  It doesn't seem as comercial as some other beacj areas in europe I have been to.  It is in Spain.

  2. When I was in Germany the best travel bargain place was the S of Spain. You could also go to the French Riveria , but bring along lots of $$$$$$$$$$$.

  3. 1. South of everything - France, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Italy, Cyprus.

  4. The south coast of France: the Riviera has the nearest palm trees from Gernany

  5. The favorite getaway for Germans is Mallorca. You can get REALLY cheap flights there from anywhere in Germany, usually with a hotel room. If you live in Germany and speak German, then you will have no problem on Mallorca, (Spanish Island) the languages there are Spanish, English, and German.

  6. There are no warm places in Europe in the winter. I live in Greece, that's about as far south as Europe goes. We had snow 2 weeks ago & it's not unusual either.

You will get charter flights to the Canaries in the winter. It's warmer there.

  7. Palmengarten in Frankfurt..lots of palmtrees..and it stays warm all year round
