Is there anywhere in Maidstone, Kent UK where I can sell my handmade items?

Hiya, I'm looking to sell my handmade items in my home town of Maidstone, in Kent. Mainly handmade cards but also some jewellery bits and candle votives etc... Does anyone have a shop or know of a shop, or a friend of a friend of a friend who's looking to stock this type of thing?

Any ideas welcome...

You can sell them online with ebay or exhibit at a craft show.  Here is a handy site to find your local craft shows in Kent http://www.ukcraftfairs.com/find-a-fair-...  I saw one in November that will be in Maidstone.

Cathy has some good ideas.  A friend of mine does very well at various craft fairs.   She does several of them a year on weekends.

Bring some of your things to work and have them setting around your work area.  When people ask you can say you do it as a hobby and sell at craft fairs.  Sometimes they will buy an item or two.    Don't do this if you are a sales clerk in a shop!
