Is there anywhere in New Jersey that still offers "pick-your-own" cranberries?

I've lived in New Jersey all my life and I have been looking for a place to pick your own cranberries for the past two years. I have found places that used to offer and now don't. Does anyone know of places here that still are open for it?

  1. You'd be surprised how much stuff you can actually do in New Jersey. I live in New Jersey, and have gone to the different beaches, newark, jersey city and new brunswick are some of my favorite places. The coincidence is, I've been trying to find a cranberry place, too..and in the process,  I found this site at http://www.kangalope.com -- and it's a great events site and social network that enables me to find great, exciting things in Jersey. I find fairs, festivals, concerts and other hard to find events. Check it out, it’s a pretty happening site. You might find something here, I'm not sure, but it's worth a try.

  2. Here you go:

Haines Berry Farm mostly has blueberries, but they also have cranberries in season.

    Haines Berry Farm

    98 Sheep Pen Hill Road

    Pemberton, NJ. Phone: (609) 894-8630.

    Email: haines.berryfarm@verizon.net

If that doesn't work for you, Piper's is nearby.  However, I sort of have a memory that Piper's cranberries might not be pick-your-own any more.  (I know for sure that they have pick-you-own blueberries.) Anyway, you can call to make sure.

Piper Blueberry Farm - Pick Your Own

    Magnolia Road

    Pemberton, NJ 08068

    Phone: (609) 894-4287 or (609) 894-9227

    Good luck!!
