I did a camp in high school and really liked it, I'm 18 now and I was just wondering if there's any place that does that.

  1. Good timing. It is not too late to sign up with USYVL, although you might have missed the "early registration" ($120)... and the regular priced one ($135).

There is a chance that the late fee could be waived. Either you can find a coaching parent, or you can talk to the branch director. I was at a local tournament in Camarillo on 8/15, and the guy "Jeff" running the event even offered Early rate.

The league is recreation based, and will form teams with players with different skill/experience level. My boy went through the local branch for one season before moving on to play for a club team.

Check the following site and see which one is closer to your house. I am assuming Aliso Viejo, but I could be wrong.

    For California:

When you are ready to move up, you can check the following sites for clubs near you. There are lots of lots of them in Southern California.

Click on JUNIORS then Boys or Girls could lead you to those clubs.

    Have fun playing volleyball.
