If you are into Chinese you won't do much better than Buffet King on the corner of Bradshawgate near town centre. It's an 'eat as much as you can' with multiple courses and dishes from about £5 per person, depending on when you go (a bit more expensive at night, I think).

Whenever we go to Bolton (regularly) we usually end up in there - the children love it too.

GO TO NANDO'S right next to the Reebok football stadium. Its South African/Argentina and has a great atmosphere.
