There are other options though, such as: babysitting, petsitting, dog walking, housesitting, lawncare, garage and attic cleaning, personal shopping, etc. You can ask for straight cash with any of those. Have you considered doing some volunteer work as well... many volunteer oppurtunities are available and in many cases you receive nice perks for helping out, such as: free swimming, free cooking classes, free gym passes, free meals, etc.

you could try swing around fun town in Fenton....   but your best bet is probably finding a babysitting job or some kind of summer camp counselor thing..

Have you tried the local grocery stores? That might help...
