Is there anywhere my friend can 'advertise' a UK government petition? Bit disappointed with the turnout so far

The government doesn't pay much attention anyway and nobody wants Gordon Brown to phone them.

Depends what it is about, if it is 'politics' then maybe the politics page, but you need to be careful not to get violated for 'solicitation'.

Try phrasing it in a question and add a link to the petition.

Post it in different sections once a week, otherwise it could be construed as spam........... just keep within the terms & conditions.
