Is there anywhere reasonable to stay in san juan pr?

What you expect here in the states is not the same as every where in the world. We stayed at a name brand hotel and it had stuff floating in the pool, the elevator broke down with us on it half way between floors. And they hire local people to clean not a reptable agency, we requesting no one to go into our room and they entered any way. Dont ask for any thing extra like towels they won't comem we paid @360.00 a room and it sucked, but they are all over so they gave us a free night stay at another one of their hotels. We never stayed again. If you stay at a mom and pop place then you might not have  a leg to stand on if it sucks, at least stay at a brand name hotel and they try to make it good for you.

You don't give any specifics about what you're looking for....

However, we stayed at the Coral Princess Inn and really liked it.  It's not on the beach.  You can check out past guest comments at TripAdvisor.com.  [That's how we found it!]

If reasonable is inexpensive the answer is no. The hotels in the Metropolitan Area of San Juan are not cheap. Check the offers from Travelocity or Expedia. Prices varies from season and are higher on long weekends.

This are my recommendations: The Marriott's in Isla Verde and Condado, The Caribe Hilton, The Condado Plaza and The Ambassador in Condado.
