  1. new note: june 2008 issue of bead and button has a pattern for strawberries, black, berries, and raspberries as part of a piece of jewelry.  The cover has big green and purple bangles on the front. The pattern is near the back.

I couldn't find any other version on the web, but here's some help on how to do one any way:

Technique 1:  If you crochet, make one with red pearl cotton and red beads size 8 or 11.

here's a great crochet pattern, but it is not free and it is a bit large, even given the difference in thread size. http://www.youcanmakethis.com/crochet-kn...

If you have a lot of crochet experience it would be pretty easy to make one up as you go.  (I may have to try and do this!)

Another technique:  Find a small felt strawberry or make one yourself and then embroidery the beads all over it.  This would work up quickly.

Technique 3:  In brick stitch work up sections shaped like rt angle triangles.  Make about three of them.    stitch them together.  Then continue your brick stitch upwards for about four or five rows.  Slowly increase for four or five rows.  Then begin to decrease very rapidly.  This would give you the strawberry shape.  Then using stitch in the ditch technique, add the seeds.

4:  Try making it in rt angle weave.  use crystals if you can, or less expensive glass bicones.  Work up triangle sections as before. Sew them to form the pointed part at bottom.  Then do your rt angle weave for about four rows.  Begin to decrease over three rows and gather closed.

I know this isn't as clear as a pdf with pics - but I'm working off the top of my head.  I can try to see what I can come up with  over time.  Check my blog in a couple of weeks and see what I've got.
