Is there anywhere to buy a straight razor in person (not online!) in Austin, TX or Dallas, TX?

I don't know anything about Texas, but in Florida, we have a Sally's Beauty Supply that sells to the public.  They are a supplier of beauty and nail salons.

They do carry straight razors.  I don't know the brand or anything about handles.  All I know is that I have seen them there.

If you don't have a Sally's, find a beauty supply store that sells to the public.

You want carbon steel for the blade; the handle doesn't matter. Make sure you get a strop.

There is a place in San Antonio at "The Shops At La Cantera" called "The Art of Shaving" that caters to straight-razor shoppers.  They'll even offer you a shave with the razor before you buy it.  That shop is pretty high end (sets start around $80).

An old fashioned straight razor should be available at any Drugstore, or 5 and Dime Store. Even Grocery Stores sell them.
