I play online every night but i know i will learn better if i can play somewhere public.

Texas is a big state, so it is hard to point you to a specific place without knowing your general area, however a good bet would be to check out nearby colleges, or just search for go clubs near your area on google. Here are a few links.

There are also quite a few clubs that are not affiliated with universities... try online search for go clubs in your area. Also, look up the AGA list of clubs at http://usgo.org
