Is there away to make aim not pop up when you turn on the comptuer?

it should work if you go to settings > sign in/sign out > and uncheck "Start AIM when Windows starts

I have AIM v. 6, it might be different on a different version though..

yes,  go to preferences on your aim, and uncheck  open on startup.

Yes. Go to Start > Run > msconfig. Type that in and go to the start-up tab. Find AIM and uncheck it's box, making it so that it won't start-up automatically. There's probably a way to do it in the AIM settings, but I don't use AIM, so I wouldn't know.
