Is there cell phone parking at Metro airport for arriving flights?

We are picking someone up coming in on N.W. airlines and would like to know if there is a area for parking while waiting for them to call us on our cell phone?

I do not see any reference on the Detroit airport website.  It advises to wait in short term parking, but there appears to be a three dollar fee.

They do have a cell phone waiting lot.

The new cell phone waiting lot is located on the south side of Eureka Road between I-275 and the airport entrance ramp. The lot is clearly marked and easily accessible from both east and westbound Eureka Rd.
