Is there coffee in the worlds of Dungeons and Dragons?

Independant of the DM, do any source materials or cannon fiction make mention of coffee. It would be nice to have confirmation, but better to know which book mentions it. If not, other than tea, are their any non-mystical stimulating beverages in D&D.

  1. Yes! And it is delicious! Off hand I know of one source Aurora's Whole Realms catalogue. Under the exotics section pg. 132

I'm sure it is mentioned in other places as well. And if you are ever interested cigars are also mentioned.

Awesome book, it will make you want to buy from it in the real world.

  2. Forgotten Realms sourcebooks.

  3. Well, as the previous poster mentioned, there is coffee in the Forgotten Realms setting.

Not sure about Greyhawk or the Known World settings,  I don't have much material on them.

the 3.0 Arms and Equipment Guide made mention of coffee, but it's not setting specific.

As for the new world used in 4e, there's no mention of it that I've seen but we hardly have enough material yet to rule it out.
