  1. No death penalty that anyone knows of. However, if you're a Catholic and die in or near the Vatican your soul goes straight to heaven.

In other parts of Rome they stopped sending tourists to fight lions in the Coliseum hundreds of years ago.

  2. No. The Vatican actively campaigns against it, as does the Council of Europe and the EU.

  3. Nope. Not in all of Italy and most definetely not in Vatican City.

  4. Not since the Inquisitions.... There is not death penality in the Vatican nor in Italy nor all of the European Union. It's actually very civil - don't you think?

  5. 1. Since 1967 it was provided for no crime by Vatican law.

Yet a provision existed in the Vatican Fundamental Act (=Constitution) until 2001 when it was amended.

Last capital executions in the State of Church were carried on in XIX cent.

    2. As regard to other parts of Rome, they belong to Italian Republic.

Italian Constitution (1947; in force since 1/1/1948) forbids death penalty but in war laws.

War criminal code provisions about death penalty were anulled in 1994.

THEREFORE in Rome death penalty doesn't exist anymore today

  6. Absolutely no!!!

  7. in europe doesn't exist this sh*t...
