  1. Depends on what country and where they will live. If it's the US, she can't have both...And you can't 'take over' citizenship. It will takes years to get it.

  2. Dude:

She was born from Philippines, if she's become a US Citizen she wouldn't lose her Philippines Citizenship.

Yes, she can have US Passport and a Philippine Passport she can renew her Philippine Passport when she get back to PI.

    She have both world.

Some they do file a Dual Citizen but shouldn't have to do that.

    Because he/she have both world.

  3. no she woundt

  4. She won't lose her Philippine citizenship by virtue of Republic Act 9225 which in part says:

Republic Act No. 9225 is an Act making the citizenship of Filipinos who acquire foreign citizenship permanent, amending for the purpose Commonwealth Act No. 63.

RA 9225, which took effect on 17 September 2003, declares that former natural-born Filipino citizens who acquired foreign citizenship through naturalization are deemed not to have lost their Philippine citizenship under conditions provided in the Act.

Former Filipinos can re-acquire/retain their Philippine citizenship by taking the oath of allegiance to the Republic of the Philippines.

  5. It depends on the country who's citizenship she is taking. The Philippines allows dual citizenship but the new country may not. The US advises against dual citizenship but does not prohibit it outright. Spain would not allow dual citizen for her but will for other countries...
