  1. English signs are displayed in the airport. You won't get lost in the airport. Practically every person who works at the airport will speak English.

The language problems will start if you go to rural Japan and the non-tourist areas of the city.

    Have fun!

  2. Of course there is ^^

    Even road sign has engligh.

    don't worry.

  3. English is everywhere now days. Don't worry. Most every other country makes students learn english in grade school.

  4. You mean Narita Int'l Airport or Kansai Int'l Airport?

Yes, don't worry. As both of them are international airports, you can find signs written in English.

But be careful; There are some wrongly used English at the airports.

Here are some examples of Engrish at Narita Int'l Airport :http://www.flickr.com/search/?s=int&z=t&...

(I'm not completely sure, but some of them might be corrected.)

Are you planning to travel to Japan? If so, welcome to Japan!

Yokoso! (=Welcome!) Have a nice and safe trip!

  5. You will not get lost at major Japanese airports such as Narita, Nagoya and Osaka. There are lots of signs in English directing you to wherever you want to go, and nearly all staff speak enough English to have a conversation with.
