  1. Thats when resorts start closing, but Alpine Meadows in North Lake Tahoe will usually stay open until Memorial Day weekend (end of May).  Be sure to check the websites before you go to make sure where you're going will be open.  Best bets are Squaw, Northstar, Alpine and Heavenly.

Also, if you haven't gone skiing/boarding during that time, the trails will likely have grass and rocks showing through.  If it's warm (an it usually is in Tahoe), the snow will get slushy by about 1pm, so best to go in the morning.

  2. You bet checkout this web page  http://www.3peaksresort.com to find a webcam as well as a killer hotel.

  3. there should be but it would be pretty nasty conditions with a lot of slush like snow

  4. Here's a great cam of the area.  You can see what the area looks like all year round.

I don't see anything open after May 4th.

Go to this site, click on the resort of your choice, go to the bottom of the page and e-mail them about their season dates.

Nov.-April seems like the season to me.
