  1. Do you realize that the current price of the Wii is only $50 more than what the original Nintendo sold for when it came out?  Nintendo has kept the launch prices of their consoles at $199.99 right up until the Wii.  Compare that to the price difference between the PS2 and the PS3, or the XBOX and the 360.

Frankly, I'm amazed that Nintendo can sell it at as low a price as they do... AND make a profit on it (which Sony and Microsoft are not, on their consoles, because they cost more to build than what they sell them for).

That said, you will not get one cheap on eBay.  eBay is full of price gougers.  Be patient and buy one for the retail price at a proper store if you want to save money.

  2. the wii is already cheaper than the 360 and PS3; they have no need to drop the price at all.

  3. 1. The price will drop When a new nintendo system comes out.

    2. Get a Used wii from gamestop

  4. i dont see why its that much i mean compared to the other systems it aint that much

  5. why would there ever be a price cut when the stores cant keep them on the shelves

and if you want one cheep you could check into actually getting one before you try to get one for cheep

  6. The price will drop when the sales start to significantly slow down.

  7. I doubt it - The Wii is selling perfectly at the $250 pricepoint. Cuts only come when a system slows down in sales.

  8. Sure, but since they aren't sure they will be able to meet demand for it this Christmas season even at the $250 price point, it won't happen this year.

  9. I know right $250 is way to much for a piece of c**p like teh wii

  10. No, There Will Not Be Any Price Cuts For The Wii, Anytime Soon, And You Could Get A Used Wii From Gamestop, For Like 220 Bucks....
