Great Zimbabwe is one such.

"Its most formidable edifice, commonly referred to as the Great Enclosure, has walls as high as 36 feet extending approximately 820 feet, making it the largest ancient structure south of the Sahara Desert."

Not quite evidence--more like indications.  Africa is so fertile and alive that evidence is eaten by the land quickly.

By Black Africa I presume you mean south of the Sahara?

There were several cities in the Sahel and Chad regions that need to be surveyed and mapped properly!

Recently traces were found of what appears to have been a large wall enclosing either a large city or the outer suburbs and gardens of a city!

Since most African countries have limited funds for archaeology I suggest you write to UNESCO or some big foundation to get more funding!
