Is there eye surgery to ONLY correct astigmatism?

  1. Laser surgery is the only way available....and even then, only if it is corneal astigmatism.

  3. I don't think so because it is caused by an odd shaped eyeball.........how can you fix that?  However, I'm no ophthmologist.  I'll star your question, though, because I am curious to know also because I have an astigmatism.

  4. I think lasik may be your option.  My brother had lasik (he had an astigmatism) and he's been glasses free for 2 years now.  He had minor discomfort the first few days after surgery and just stayed home from work.  He's fine now and can see wonderfully without glasses!
