  4. Yes, It is as popular as the Fish Tail Curry which most of us down south eat.

  5. Yes it is a delicacy in East India in the states of Orissa and West Bengal where they fry the fish head first and then cook it with or without vegetables.  It is one of the important dishes during marriages and other celebrations.

  11. Theres a lot of varieties. as India is a peninsula with sea in 3 sides. Fish becomes one of the main items of food. most people dont like fish head. but some like it. they say eye balls of fish is good for eye sight. the variety of fish depends on the place coz only some fishes are available in some places.

  15. I'm from Bangladesh and it's popular there. India is our neighbouring country and we share a lot of dishes. So, would think they have a similar curry. But it's usually cooked with the head of large fishes such as Rui (scientific name: Labeo Rohita)
