Is there floods in ohio as of june 16 2008?

What part of Ohio are you talking about?  I live in Ohio.  There were some areas that had very minor flooding around that time.  It was more like flash flooding.  I have a friend that lives up a small road and there was flooding there that just about put a car in the ditch.  However, in the area I am talking about there was not much damage.  At least not on the scale of what Iowa is going through.  Not even close.

We got quite a bit of rain and the rain stood in the fields and peoples yards and over roadways for days. A lot of crops were ruined. On Fathers day there was standing water everywhere. We've definitely had more rain than what is usual for this time of year. I'm sick of it, to be frank!

Edit: The poster above me said it....it wasn't a flooding that would cause homes to float away for be severely water damaged, but it did ruin crops, yards and many a car got a bath it didn't expect..lol

Iowa, Missouri and Illinois are the states that are getting the major flooding.  No major flooding is occuring in Ohio..  if it is flooding there it is mainly just flash floods.
