Is there going to be a NEW ipod nano anytime soon?

I saw an article about it when browsing google news recently. Just wondering whether it's a rumour or not.

If you read it on good then it must be true apple comes out with new stuff all the time just look at the iPhone as an example they came out with the first one and before canada even got the iPhone they came out with the second one.

I'm sure there will be. A new one comes out every week! The next one will play music, videos AND heat up food! WOW!

it's a rumour. no ipod nao's are coming out

Apple usually updates its Ipods in September.  There is a rumor going around that it will happen on the 9th.  

The problem with apple is that they never release information about their new products before they are introduced to the public at either MacWorld SF or WWDC.  There have been some items released not at those events and those are called Stevenotes.

There is no reason not to buy now.  The nano now is fine and most likely there will just be a spec bump but if you dont need that then dont worry about it.
