Yes, the movie was delayed but it is still on.

nope, the project was originally stated, but 20th century fox backed out due to its high cost and they put it on hold until l they could find another company. Warner Bros. signed in but like Fox, they backed out due to cost and Peter Jackson Canceled it. They made a demo movie and are now not making a movie, but like a interactive movie game that players can watch and choose things that effects the movie. It is titled Halo: Chronicles and will be out TBA 2009.

Yes and it is going to be directed by Peter Jackson.  Going to star some new guy (Luis J. Perez) that Peter has know for years.  Peter grew up with his parents.  I did some research on the guy.  He is from the Bronx in New York...thats all I know so far.
